Massage therapy is a LOW to MEDIUM risk activity for both of us and I ask that as we enter a session together, it is under a mutual pledge not to endanger each other. Please take my health as seriously as your own.
Improving Safety
I have invested in providing the safest atmosphere possible for your massage. Everything from enhanced PPE for me (KN95s always), to a HEPA air filtration system, a new practice room with better ventilation, and even changing the order of the massage to give us a little more distance. These and many other adaptations have been put in place for your safety and mine.
Evaluating Risk
See the prescreen questions here. It is my current policy to send a health screen text the day before your appointment for a health check and risk assessment. Please respond to this text before you arrive.
Sessions will be rescheduled if you have:
• Received a positive Covid-19 diagnosis, and not yet received a negative test.
• Had a fever of 100°F or above, any respiratory or flu symptoms, sore throat, or shortness of breath.
• Been in close contact with anyone in the last 14 days who has been diagnosed with Covid-19 or has Covid-19 type symptoms.
• Been visiting or working in indoor spaces without a mask and unable to maintain social distance of 6 ft.
These new policies are adapted from the recommendations from Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals, Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, and the CDC.
Cancellations: I have modified my cancellation policy to offer greater flexibility and I hope this will alleviate any stress and hesitation you have about an upcoming appointment. If you need to reschedule for whatever reason, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule. To further support you, there will be no penalties for cancellations.
